Between a lunch and a dinner, a cake and a gift, we have reached the final appointment of the year with the Friday column dedicated to lighting design. Today we show you “Lumib”, the lamp created by Canadian designer Stéphanie Aubin. An eco-friendly, simple and compact solution, a design piece to assemble, composed of three elements, a bag-lampshade, an electrical cable and a bulb, all inserted in a characterizing and fundamental transparent plastic packaging. A box with a dual function, which is initially used as a standard packaging and protection item, and then, with an intuitive gesture, transforms into the internal structure of the shade, composing, together with other elements, this modern pendant lamp.
