Liebling Shoes

Is it possible to swoon over a pair of shoes? These shoes, by Israeli label, Liebling certainly made me come close to a swoon-like state. “Liebling”, a German term of endearment meaning darling, or sweetie is certainly an appropriate moniker for the shoe brand. The brand’s carefully crafted shoes are absolutely darling, and quite often sweet. The line was started in 2007 by Lior Livne and Karni Reshef and “born out of love for design and for shoes” (a sentiment I can identify with). Their love and dedication to the craft of shoe shines in the thoughtful attention to detail. The styles are made in small batches out of internationally sourced leather hand-picked by Livne and Reshef. With sumptuous retro silhouettes and a modern design aesthetic, each pair of Liebling shoes feels timeless. I have got to get my hands on a pair of these.
