Julian Zigerli fall/winter 2012

Julian Zigerli has finished his studies in fashion design at the University of Art in Berlin just two years ago. In 2010, just graduated, he got back home in Switzerland and founded his brand, exclusively for men, which debuts with the fall/winter 2011. Never as in this case we can call this an emerging brand: the collection that we present today is in fact only the third, but the designer’s style is already very recognizable. One of the founding concepts of the brand’s production is to create garments out of innovative Swiss textiles. The fall/winter 2012 collection is called “To Infinity and Beyond” and is inspired by the mathematical figure of the Möbius strip, symbol of infinity, which draws a line between past, present and future. In a nutshell, a funny and lighthearted collection, colorful, striking more than for the shapes – rather functional – for the graphic patterns that invade all types of garments and accessories, from trousers to shirts, from jackets to backpacks.
