is another of the emerging designers that I had the pleasure of discovering at White Milano
, at the “Talents for White” hall, which housed some of the designers we introduced in these days, like Steven Tai
, Francesco Ballestrazzi
and Shengwei Wang
. Angeline is a British shoe designer, graduated in fashion footwear at the Royal College of Art in London, but with classically trained as artist. Her background as a sculptor is more than evident in her creations, and as to confirm her involvement with that world, for the spring/summer 2013 collection, the inspiration comes exactly from a sculptor, Constantin Brancusi. Simple shapes embellished with spiral details, leather with metallic effect and raffia are the characteristics of the collection. My favorite? The raffia bicolor wedge with interlaced processing.
