Today we introduce a collection of furniture and household items, where modernity and originality of ideas blend with processing and use of materials with a retro taste, created and hand-crafted by the French designer, carpenter and artist Abassi Nordine and produced under the brand Woodernity. In particular we want to show and develop two furnishing complements: “The satchel chair” and “The rubber crepe stool”. The first, a chair, or better, a unique piece of design and carpentry, with a structure of high-quality solid oak and the typical back, which incorporates a school bag in high quality leather available in different colors. The second, a stool also made of solid oak and characterized by the seat in comfortable crepe, a 100% natural rubber, made with no added chemicals or dyes. Available in differebt finishes and in two sizes, for adults and children, can be purchased on the Etsy online shop from 220 Euros. Minimalist works of art that arise from the influence of the objects that have characterized and accompanied the designer’s childhood, and from the inspirations of events and situations that are experienced and are absorbed in the everyday, from the people and the trends.
