The lace, if properly dosed and especially black, is an element that can really characterize an outfit and give a gothic allure.
That’s why I love the little works of art and craft of “White Owl”. They are two sisters from Michigan, far from Gothic, who likes to go to fairs and flea markets looking for vintage items to be processed into jewelry. With a background that is far from fashion (Courtney teaches communication and creates independent films while Christina is a photographer and a stylist), these two sisters are creating jewelry together since 2007 and opened their shop on Etsy that is still growing. Among their creations, those that impressed me more are made with old lace and doilies transformed into necklaces, earrings and bracelets, retro but with a modern twist.
