Mollight

Today, as every Friday, we talk about Lithing Design, presenting “Mollight”: a minimal table lamp created by Italian designer Alessandro Marelli.
Formed by a bulb screwed into a cable located on a spiral support, Mollight has born from the idea of recycling as a fundamental part of its creation. In fact, the base that supports and surrounds the bulb is just a spring recovered from an old armchair filling.
Sometimes I think the real creativity doesn’t lie in knowing how to design and develop new concepts, but more “simply” in the ability to observe and interpret with imagination, in a different and creative way, the objects that already exist.
