FanTubes project

FanTubes project

Jul 06 2011, 8:00 am 0 Marco Russo

After the living-room CartoChic, the Italian designers Paola Argine and Cristina Alzati, alias double-ei, are back creating with cardboard, a way to continue their mood and style in a renewed love with a new furnishing madness, FanTubes: two tables and three chairs, almost comfortable, composed of about 300 cardboard tubes of various heights, meters and meters of wire and plexiglass. A bizarre set up, a mix of craft and creativity made entirely by hand with a lot of patience, mental and physical efforts, for a design event situated in a location of excellence, the Palace Grand Hotel in Varese, a suggestive context between the amazing Liberty architecture symbol of the Belle Époque in Italy and the panorama of extraordinary beauty able take your breath away. If you want to know more, here you can see some pics of the event.
