Angry

A special blend of art, photography and papercraft. Olya Oleinic is a young photographer from the Netherlands, with a sensitivity certainly more mature than her 19 years. From a reflection on the phenomena of variance of people’s emotions born “Angry” or “Expressions”: a series of portraits printed on photo paper, crumpled on purpose to emphasize the emotions and facial expressions of the subjects, physically creating, through the foldings, the most common wrinkles made from facial expression, from scowling forehead to the mouth’s corners turned down.
