We leave for a moment the warm scarves, hats and sweaters we’re wearing in these days, to peek through the upcoming spring-summer collections. Alisa Bieniek graduated from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, then moved to London, where she worked for designers such as Celiné, Alexander McQueen and Sophia Kokosalaki. But creativity is difficult to cage, and Alisa began to create for her personal brand. Her aesthetic preferes transparency, overlays and three-dimensionality. For the s/s 2012 collection “Reverie”, the designer uses a few natural colors, produces only unstructured and fluctuating dresses (pants are banned), with particular lengths, often below the knee, and asymmetrical cuts, accompanied by sculptural jackets and outerwear.
