Air chair

Air chair

Jul 11 2011, 12:00 am 0 Marco Russo

An experimental project, made from the Egyptian Mohammed Yassin, an architect with a designer background, obsessed from Arabic calligraphy and the Egyptian culture and architecture. A concept characterized by the materials used, or rather re-used, because “Air” is made up of one hundred thirty-two plastic bottles of mineral water, recycled and hand-assembled one by one. An idea that comes to life not so much with the intent to create an aesthetically perfect or pleasant chair, but to form a seat that took advantage of a different conception for its structural basis, with the air inside the empty bottles as a comfortable support.
